Kelly’s presentation on Difficult Conversations: Developing Positive Relationships was well received by our leadership staff. Kelly’s skillful and down-to-earth presentation style combined humour with knowledgeable, practical solutions and provided an atmosphere for easy learning and retention. This was a positive and very helpful session on conflict management for our staff. I appreciated Kelly’s willingness to work with our Staff Development department to tailor the session to the needs of our staff and their current situations, and will not hesitate to have her back in our region for additional presentations on the topic.

Kelly Karius has worked in consultation with our corporation for the last few months to customize and deliver Conflict Management programs for our employees.
 

Kelly’s extensive expertise in regard to conflict management and mediation was invaluable as the course was prepared, and the pilot was delivered. Our firm engaged Karius & Associates to conduct MBTI testing and present and facilitate a workshop for our company. The workshop focused on the interplay of personality types in an organization, positive communication skills, awareness of self and how to approach others.
 

Kelly was asked to incorporate many of the elements in her This is out of Control book to fit in with industry-required Human Factors training. Kelly did a splendid job!

Buy-in from our group of 17 at the opening stages of the session was mixed. Quite quickly and very easily Kelly had many of the participants active and engaged. By mid day, she had total buy-in to the concepts. By day end, participants had reached many new understandings about themselves and their co-workers.

The session was empowering. The staff not only bought into what Kelly offered, they openly talked of their intrigue and improved awareness.

Kelly’s greatest strength is her humour and easy delivery of these tough aspects in our reality. She makes you believe that simply being aware is the first step, and then enables us by providing some great examples and real checks and balances to use to keep our lives “in control.”

Kelly doesn’t pretend to be perfect and her willingness to share her own “human” experiences keeps her real and credible. The manuals she prepared for our group were well done. Kelly offered to take personal individual calls on anything presented, and ensured they would be kept confidential. Although this was an employer-paid session, I am absolutely confident everyone viewed Kelly as having immense integrity. I do not think anyone would hesitate to call Kelly on any matter.

Our firm highly recommends Karius & Associates to facilitate any training or counselling session required.

The information is presented in a very useful format that allows you to see the uses it has. Kelly is able to mold the session and material to the people attending the session. I have now taken 2 seminars about the same information, and Kelly did an excellent job in presenting the information differently to each group (as the group found it useful to them).
